After walking all over Florence, we were ready for something to eat. It was a little after 2 PM and a table opened up at Tato. We reviewed the menu and grabbed the table. I ordered the Risotto Alla Pescatora and my wife ordered the Minestrone soup. Both were wonderful, full of flavor, fresh and warm. While we finished the... More

We had lunch in TATO ristorante while waiting for the museum to be opened at 2 pm. We had Bruschetta for the appetizer and pizza for two. Both tasted good. The restaurant also provided free wifi for the customers. It was located next to Basilica di Santa Croce, a good location, though not facing directly to the front of the... More

Food was super and service impeccable. My wife is handicapped and travels on a motorized scooter. I bringing it back to the table for her from where they had put it, i crashed into another table. They couldn't have been nicer about that.

We ordered the beef in peppercorn sauce (14 euros), pasta with sausage and porcini mushrooms in a cream sauce (9 euros), a .75 liter bottle of water and coffee (2 euros).... More

When having a meal, suddenly a filthy bird came in. Then the bird flies here and there on our table with food on and over head. I could see dusts falling on our food and tables. It was very filthy.
