Take the pizza called "BURRATA" something so delicious. It worth the visit to this pizzeria. Pizza is not big but the ingredients are top quality. Highly recommended

I spent four months in Florence and this was by far one of my favorite spots to grab a bite to eat. My friend and I stumbled in on this place because we went to school nearby but kept coming back because of the excellent food, quality service, and the extremely reasonable prices. The menu changed daily so we always... More

The service was more than friendly but it was unfortunately not enough to compensate the boring food. We had pasta and a pizza and we're both a bit disappointed. We had way better Italian foods in less fancy "cantina" for half the price.

This was the worst experience we have ever had with a business owner. Worst food we have tasted in Italy. The pizza was not cooked and watery. When asked about it, the Manager came right out and said Canadians and USA people always want free s**t and never want to pay for anything! Started yelling and insulting us..along with friends... Despite your bill (2 persons) was just 23 euro (including drinks and service....) you came to our bar telling us you didn't want to pay... More

Farina 00 is one of the few places I've been back to many times during my stay in Florence. To start the owners, waiters and chefs are all very friendly, the atmosphere is wonderful and the food is simple and delicious!! I dine in for lunch mostly, and it is always packed with locals, a great sign of quality food,... More

This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone visiting Florence and looking for a place to eat with amazing Italian food (especially pizza) as well as a cool atmosphere. The owner of the restaurant was amazingly friendly and hospitable. Me and my two other friends who I originally came with for an aperitivo liked it so much that we ended up... More

Neighbourhood Profile
San Marco
The pleasant atmosphere of this residential area, a stone’s throw away from the Duomo of Florence, surprises everyone. A continuous flow of backpacking students provides the tranquil surroundings for the elderly residents who sit in Piazza San Marco to read the daily newspaper. Home to several universities, including the Academy of Fine Arts, San Marco is one of the most vibrant cultural centers in the city. A bridge connecting the modern cultural activity of Florence to its classic art, represented by the everlasting magnificence of the original David, resonates as a symbol of Florence and of Italy as a whole. Get lost in a Neoclassic world, a journey back in time through historic buildings like Spedale degli Innocenti (Hospital of the Innocents), San Marco church, Basilica della Santissima Annunziata, and natural jewels like the Botanical Gardens.
