Anywhere Guinness is sold can't be all bad! Staff is 😊, but you'll have to wait past 7 pm for the restaurant menu.

My husband and I enjoyed relaxing on the patio and then coming inside for a dose of some Rock and Roll music that we had been missing. The beers were good, the music was great and the crowd was mostly locals - older in the earlier evening and got younger later. It was the perfect does of what we needed.

The beer selection is great, the food is great, the patio is fantastic and the staff and regulars are some of the smartest people you'll find in a bar in this area.

Right across the intersection from the Hotel David. We dropped in after a day of exploring the city, looking for a beer. We found some great ones. What we didn't expect was the 'free' dinner buffet - mostly pasta and finger snacks, but a bit of a bonus with our libation.

Great place to unwind after the press of tourists in the downtown. Great beer selection which I liked, hours were a of a pisser because we went a few times and it was closed. Checked on line and they said they opened at four...well that's not always true!

The only good thing about this pub is the outdoor seating area. If you don't want to drink beer be prepared to get a below average drink for above average price. The food offered at aperitif is also below average quality. The last time I went there I ordered a margarita and was it was served in a small martini... More

good beer selection and cosy atmosphere plus free appetizers. I was hooked. but not so much a restaurant as a good hangout to grab a beer and a bite.

Staying in Piazzale Michelangelo

Neighbourhood Profile
Piazzale Michelangelo
Just outside the ancient walls of Florence, Viale Michelangiolo starts. It is a winding road rimmed by wonderful poplars and holm oaks. The long ascent opens up to the most beautiful and famous panoramic viewpoint of Florence: Piazzale Michelangelo, where an elevated terrace offers visitors an incomparable and breathtaking view of the entire city from above. During good weather, Piazzale Michelangelo provides visitors with a serene space surrounded by the amazing landscape, better if accompanied by a fresh gelato from a local kiosk. During night, visitors will be dazzled by the warm lights of the capital of the Renaissance. Spend a second with the silent Romanesque beauty of the Basilica of San Miniato al Monte: the one that wishes good morning and good night to Florence!
