Why not stop here? A popular stop, this lovely little gelateria is in the middle of the tourist hub. A quick stop for any gelato (we all love pistachio which was nut laden, not too sweet) is a great way to keep the energy flowing.

This was recommended to us on a food tour of the city six years ago! We visited it back then and looked forward to going back. We were not disappointed. Many flavours of traditional gelato (pistachio is my favourite) but also soya and fruit varieties....More

Oh my goodness, the best gelato I've ever tasted. I was keen to try the rice flavour that everyone talks about, but it wasn't on today. Gave me a chance to try 3 others... Tiramisu: too much like cream/mousse than an ice cream texture for...More

I admit it, I ate gelato every day in Florence. I tried a number of places, but Perche No! is the only one I visited twice. :) You can tell that it's all made in small batches, and the flavors are varied and delicious. I...More

We hopped in when we were close to the place and just had to return for it another day. The ice-creams are in TOP3 of all we tried in Italy and the service tries to help you patiently to choose one of many perfect tastes....More

Went looking for this gelateria as I had read about it in an article and, though tempted by many other gelaterias on the way, I was determined to try it first! And boy was I glad! Tucked away on a side street off the center...More

Very good ice cream in Florence, centrally located. Very popular, and for good reason, but not necessarily the best ice cream. Worth trying as it's better than most of the terrible places in the area.

One of the best gelatos in Florence. They have a multitude of flavors some traditional and some unusual. The flavors change so get it while you can. Our group tried the pistachio, almond, honey and sesame, choc hazelnut and regular choc the first time we...More

Get off the main drag and grab a gelato here. Best in the city! Try the Coffee Crunch, then try everything else!

I had their stracciatella and my friend had their chocolate banana. This was by far the best gelato we had on trip, and the best we had in Florence. And unlike some of the less scrupulous gelato places in Florence, they don't try to sell...More

Yes we do! We have some flavors made with soy milk, like vanilla, hazelnut, chocolate etc. We have also many flavors made with water, with no dairy, like ALL the fruit flavors and chocolate.

I do not know for sure about soy gelato, but I recall that they had a number of vegan gelato flavors on display in the front.
