My girlfriend and I had the amazing opportunity to dine at this new restaurant last night! We're on a two week tour of Italy and Florence is our last stop. This restaurant was by far the best culinary experience we had throughout our entire time in Italy! The food is impeccable, the service is spot on, we can't recommend it... More

My wife and I took and apartment in Santa Croce district (Acacia apartment - look them up!) and we had a really amazing time in a hip neighbourhood. The evenings were one of cappuccino after a lovely dinner and grappa at Caffe Sant Ambrogio - as owned by Mehri. She is one of those people you might meet travelling and... More

Piazza Sant'Ambrogio is a hangout place. I have to admit, I am a bit older than the regular scene here, so I am a little envious. We are staying very near the Piazza and we find three "seasons" during the day. The first season is pretty "normal"... very local Firenze with shops (a very well stocked hardware store, for example... More

A vast variety of local and international drinks. Indoor and outdoor option with a lot of locals all around the place! A must try. Cheers

Great café - bar in a very local part of the city! Nice cocktails, reasonably priced. If the weather allows it, definitely choose an outside table, marvelling at the local Florentine life passing before your eyes! We had an excellent evening at Café Sant' Ambrogio and would definitely go back there!

We don't recommend this place AT ALL! This place was absolutely deplorable - the waitress cleaned the table virtually " onto" us and even then reluctantly so- when she was asked to please clean coffee that we had found on a chair before sitting on it (!) she complained about our choice to sit at that table and our attitude!??... It’s a wine bar, but it does coffees and sandwiches too, good place to spend your evening with your mates or girlfriend. They prepared our drinks in seconds, the staff are crazy and very funny, and their wines vary in a great choice reds to whites and fruity ones. They have wines from all over the world both Italian and... More

Mehri, the owne, and her colleagues are always friendly, the coffee has this tempting aroma and the chef who takes care of the food will make you happy happy - it`s all delicious and reasonably priced. A glass of wine starts from 4EUR.. I come back often.

Not expensive with nice food. Not typical tourist food. Locals visit it. Very helpful staff! Not exactly at the city center but it is a walking distance.
