Had four flavours....Mango, Banana, Pear and Chocolate with Orange.....all divine. We walked twenty minutes from the Florence SMN train station to Vivoli to enjoy glorious gelato moments. Nearby restaurants shouldn’t bother offering gelato on their menu. Vivoli closes at midnight in summer.

Another rough guide gem. Very difficult to choose, the chocolate was exquisite and pear and caramel really subtle in flavour. Red currant sorbet also recommended. Need to make many visits to try all the ice-creams! You pay first, then choose, nice little tables inside if...More

a yummy gelato that tastes real. Close to the duomo church an easy walk. Classic flavors and overall delicious. No cones. They serve coffee as well

I have been living in Italy off and on for many years. By far, the best gelato is Vivoli. Don't pass up the opportunity to try the rice gelato. SImply the best!

Let me start my review by stating that I specifically sought out Vivoli after watching "I'll Have What Phil's Having" on Netflix. And it is clear from the reviews, many others do as well. And there's a reason why this place is still in business...More

This is an aesthetically interesting place, in an interesting part of the city, sort of. We were told Vivoli was the spot for the best gelato in Firenze. Oops... what we had was no different from what your kids might make when attempting to make...More

I was here some week ago. The service could be better but the gelato was very good and the coffee too. Right price.

Unfortunately, we are not impressed with the quality. Overpriced, overcrowded, stingy portions and not the greatest in flavours. Too much sugar, a bit powdery. Something was wrong. Rather average ice creams. Having tried different place recommended by the local person, where you literally have 6...More
