We came here late evening 9pm with no reservation, they kindly accommodated us but were clearly busy. We sat down and could see some food being made in the kitchen which looked amazing! It took some time for our order to be taken but the staff were friendly. The food came and tasted delicious, very accommodating to allergy needs! It... More

Had a great dinner here with three friends. The pizzas are quite large and the mixed appetizer is great. The bill came out to a mere €20/person including drinks. Great quality price value. Though it isn't your typical Tuscan restaurant, the decor and atmosphere are lovely. Recommended.

Reasonably priced food. Tastes good but not a surprise. Froze my a.. off as not properly heated. For a non-elegant dinner okay, but for sure much better places around.

The night we were here, place was packed with locals. Our waiter was extremely nice and helpful. We couldn't believe how friendly the prices were, including some decent selection of wines. Had an excellent appetizer (Gran Beppa on the menu) of meats, bread, and cheeses, among different offerings. Also had a very nice pasta dish (Pici with wild boar, though... More

This is an amazing place. A brief walk (~30mins) out from the centre and worth every step. Possibly the best steak ive had in my life. Quietly helpful staff. Lovely wines. A great excuse to leave the tourist trail and see a different part of florence.

We're halfway through a 22 day visit in Italy, and tonight's dinner at La Beppa is the best yet. We had margherita pizza, chicken, lamb, and ravioli, plus salads and dessert and 750ml bottle of excellent chianti, all for 134€. Every single menu item was superb. It was obvious that all ingredients were fresh and all dishes home made. Service... More

A very good, cozy place! A group of 5, we had two mixed appetizers (the coccoli were excellent), a seafood platter and then each had a pizza. They were quite big and filling, though can't say the same for the pasta dishes. We also had a house white wine, coffee and a dessert to share. At less than €20/person. All... More

We enjoyed a tasty meal in the great outdoors and lingered as the sun went down for just a lovely evening all around. The prices were certainly reasonable, the food was all very good and the ambiance was terrific.

This is a proper 'locals' Italian restaurant. Full of Italian families with kids. It is partly outdoor and is charming and romantic. It gets very busy, so make a reservation. It doesn't serve 'tourist' Italian food but excellent real Italian food, from a limited menu. The food is fabulous but the service is Italian. You must be relaxed and patient... More

La Beppa Fioraia is the Osteria at Erta Canina. The place of palate's enjoyment, mind's relaxation, heart and lungs'fun. The starting point are the ingredients of Tuscan cuisine, but we do not settle for the tradition: for this reason we try a lot of new things and suggest you only the most surprising. We prepare the best dishes for who passes from Erta Canina with the desire to spend best time in Florence.

Neighbourhood Profile
Piazzale Michelangelo
Just outside the ancient walls of Florence, Viale Michelangiolo starts. It is a winding road rimmed by wonderful poplars and holm oaks. The long ascent opens up to the most beautiful and famous panoramic viewpoint of Florence: Piazzale Michelangelo, where an elevated terrace offers visitors an incomparable and breathtaking view of the entire city from above. During good weather, Piazzale Michelangelo provides visitors with a serene space surrounded by the amazing landscape, better if accompanied by a fresh gelato from a local kiosk. During night, visitors will be dazzled by the warm lights of the capital of the Renaissance. Spend a second with the silent Romanesque beauty of the Basilica of San Miniato al Monte: the one that wishes good morning and good night to Florence!
