Popped in for a quick lunch, I had a delicious Penne A'rabbiatta and my girlfriend had a pizza. The food was delivered very quickly, although mine arrived a few minutes before the pizza. I'd like to come back again as the large menu had a lot of tempting options.

Found this place when we didn't like the guidebook recommendation. Service was wonderful. Spoke English well, good explanations for different menu items and great food. We had Risotto with pumpkin, peas and Gorgonzola cheese, Pizza with ham, artichokes, spicy salami, mozzarella, olives & mushrooms, Tuscan tomato soup, tagliatelle with sausage. All excellent.

I'm not quite sure why this has had bad reviews - we visited this place yesterday, just for a quick lunch. We had some fried bread and soft cheese which was just gorgeous. We then shared the sausage, egg, spinach and cheese Calzone which was so tasty - one of the best! Be warned - it's big, definitely one to share, especially... More

We found this small trattoria after having walked all day and decided to give it a try as restaurant looked busy. We were ignored by the staff for over 5 minutes whilst we we waited for a table and about to walk away when finally one of the staff member walked over, not too fussed wether we ate there or not... On a rainy Sunday night we were looking for a tasty simple meal and landed here. The food was delicious and staff friendly. The candlelight on all the tables helped to dress up the otherwise basic decor. We intend to return and highly recommend it to others.

What a disappointment - while the place has all the appearance of a lovely Trattoria, the food was totally disappointing. I had the Carbonara which had bits of bacon gristle all through it - very ordinary and over-priced for the poor quality. Not a great flavour. My partner had pizza which had about 5 bits of pepperoni (or salami) with... More

We ended up at Le Antiche Carrozze for the same reason everyone else did - it's on the way to places to see and we were starving. Location alas that is the only quality that stood out. The pizza was not exactly crispy, not too flavourful, not anything you wouldn't get in a below average Italian restaurant in your hometown.... More

The best place we ate at in Florence. Food was delicious and not too pricey. After more than a week of eating pasta this restaurant had a very nice variety. Waiter Carlos also gave us a special gift of balsamic to take back to Oz :)
