This is a nice little place where you can rest your legs and enjoy local food at a reasonable cost. Easy to get by with English and the staff were friendly and helpful. It took us a moment to work out but the daily specials are at the front of the shop - cheaper than buying from menu.

Our B&B gave us vouchers for breakfast in this little café. The products are delicious, and the waitresses are so nice and friendly. We loved everything.

The restaurant offers good cost-benefit food and service. We went there at noon for lunch and we had the option to order from the menu or to go to the buffet and take the food. We ordered from the menu. I ate a risotto and a spaghetti and drank wine of the house. The wine was good, but the plates... More

The BEST coffee and extremely friendly staff. The semolina cake was soooo good! Centrally located - we visited twice and had great experiences both times.

Dropped in for a drink and all you can eat cold buffet. The range of available drinks was very good and all the food was tasty. Great atmosphere: most of the other customers were young people. The service was very friendly and welcoming.

A landmark during my shopping afternoons in Florence. Wide choice of wines, teas. You can sit or have a quick stay, always a welcoming place.

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
