This is a pleasant place with pretty good food. It's not very interesting but it's not disappointing. It has a very nice atmosphere and solid Tuscan cooking. Not special but fine. Good enough that I actually came twice, for lunch and dinner. It's very convenient.

The Italian trattoria feeling is very good and the family serving were helpful despite being very busy. The menu is not great for vegetarians but we had the Ravioli with spinach sauce which was very tasty. The house wine is not very good and the salad lacked a little imagination but on the whole our meal was ok and the... More

The waitress was kinf but the food... I ordered veal with potato as main course it was tasteless and disgutingly greasy. Anyways my husband's ravioli was ok, that's the reason of the 2 points.

If you read my reviews, you know how I hate tourist's places. Yet I have to admit that in some cases they are not that bad as it could be. Lucca is a small city and it's hard to survive if you feed people badly. This Trattoria da Leo has been surviving for decades because they cook well, serve swiftly,... More

This was a great place to eat in Luca. The service was fast and the waitress was really nice. We had one of the pasta dishes that was so good, the peas on the side were my wife's fav. We also shared the spare ribs which were good. Would totally come back to this place.

We first visited Trattoria Da Leo 10 years ago on our first trip to Lucca. It was one of those memorable meals that has stayed with us over the years and also lead to us recommending Leo's to many friends on their travels to Lucca. We should have left well enough alone and not tempted fate to visit Leo's again... More

Great food. I go there every time I am in Lucca. Hard to find. No big sign. So you have to know where it is. Can get crowded but service is always fast. Good variety of food. Bob B Virginia, USA
