Best wine list I have seen in a long time with strength on Italy, Also has many very reasonable options. Food was great especially the squab. Loved a number of Siena restaurants but this one probably best.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel in Siena - The Grand Hotel, which, by the way, is excellent. We decided to try a few dishes.... 2 appetizers, 1 pasta and 2 entree....plus bread, water+ wine, and chocolate. Please see attached photos. The appetizer with the squid sliced into "pasta like" strands was impressive. Everything went well together. Very satisfying.... More

If I have to be critical, the decor is nothing like as nice as the food. Quite plain interior and relatively inexperienced staff. Once you see the menu it all begins to get better... expensive, but probably the best in Siena at the moment and certainly better than some of the more famous restaurants.

It can only be a matter of time before PorriOne achieves its first Michelin star. The standard of cuisine and service is already at that level. After several days of eating traditional Tuscan food, however good, it was a pleasure to taste cooking that was a little more delicate and refined whilst retaining the flavours of the region. The pigeon... More

There are so many traditional Trattoria and Osteria in Siena to choose from, and most offer fantastic Tuscan cuisine including all the classic dishes. What distinguishes PorriOne is the 'high end' dining feeling you realize here. Service is impeccable, and the puts a gourmet twist on traditional Tuscan dishes. I had a perfectly grilled Florentine T-bone, and my wife had... More

We booked this restaurant last minute to pre-celebrate my birthday. Since this is one of the most upscale restaurants in Siena, I expected it to be an overpriced michillin guide one. Oh boy was I wrong! It was the best meal I had during my 1 week stay in italy. The service and food were both exceptional, and we highly... More

I was eating with a group of 13 other friends. We wanted a special meal as it was the last night of our Tuscany walking trip. The whole experience did not match our expectations. We all had two courses and each one of us were disappointed with at least one of our courses. I would not recommend this restaurant .

My husband and I and our two adult children went to PorriOne on the recommendation of our hotel. It was an excellent choice and we had the most delicous meal. We did not choose the tasting menu but went for starters and main courses but with all the extra amuse bouche and petit fours with coffee, it was as if... More

We found the place through Michelin guide. Food is just awesome! The highlight are the pasta with truffle and also the tiramisu, but all the dishes are really great. The waiter was very charming and personal. Highly recommended!!
