We went to eat here twice during our short stay in Siena. It is not always easy to find restaurants for our group of four: one gluten free, one vegetarian, one vegan, one carnivore, but this one fitted all of us perfectly. The cooking is excellent, the menu an interesting variation on the Tuscan theme, and there was a wide... More

This restaurant is cheaper than the others but the food is not very good and the quantity is not enough. The plates are ok but not something special. It is clean and the stuff helpfull. I expected more.

Nice place to eat. There was a nice atmosphere, friendly staff and relaxing music. We were very pleased with dishes we ordered. The risotto was a good choice. The spinach noodles with truffle was a really good choice as well. We recommend it if you want to have good quality food at a reasonable price.

Tuscan food and wine at Lunch on New Years Eve....fabulous. We would have loved to have eaten here again but we only had a short stay and it was fully booked.

We ate here during our stay in Siena last month. The salami plate was generous and it contained a nice assortment of local products. Both my wife and I enjoyed our pasta dishes. They also have a second dining room that looks like a cavern, which seemed popular with locals.

We were 4 persons, who had a great evening with excellent food and a superb service. The total price was very reasonable.

We ordered two starters, the cheese and jams and the melon and shrimp, both were every good. However two out of three main entrees were salty. The service was good and staff friendly.

This is a very casual restaurant. It seems like a lot of locals go there. I went for dinner with my husband and we really enjoyed it. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. We asked for a bottle of local white wine and he recommended Vernaccia Di Dan Gimignano, an organic white. We liked it because it suited our... More

Food was excellent, wine was amazing for 10 Euros. But we were tired and it took a while until we got their attention to get a bill. We were sitting along in a second room so there wasn't much of an atmosphere.

I booked Osteria Castelvecchio after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. The food was excellent! I got a chicken and spinach dish with a cheese sauce that I loved. My husband ordered a pork dish with caramelized onions and a tasty sauce. It's located not far off the main path, but worth it to find this gem of a restaurant. I'm... More
