A wonderful restaurant with excellent food and an even better wine waiter (Francesco) - not afraid to suggest an alternative that he thought was better than our choice and he was right! My boyfriend and I went here while in Seina on my birthday. We were quite early for dinner - around 6:30pm - and were the first ones in the restaurant. I'm not sure how this book ended up in so many guidebooks - the food was extremely bland (heavily salted, which is not unusual in Italy, but absolutely no flavor) and the service was indifferent at best. We've come to expect fresh vegetables and herbs while traveling in Italy but even their pesto tasted as if it were out of... More

Seems to be in a hundred guidebooks - but I found this restaurant pricey and disappointing. The Saturday lunchtime we visited we were the only people in there, while around the corner were a couple of places that appeared packed with locals.
