Must book otherwise difficult to get table even midweek.food is sourced locally good quality well prepared Umbrian recipes ,very tasty and scoffed down with the largest selection of wines I have ever seen in a restaurant.service and cleanliness of high quality with prices very very reasonable.

The only way they can keep the superb food and service is by not going to 'big'. Personalised service and great food remains the 'order of the day'.

Excellent quality, authentic, local Italian cuisine. Service informal but friendly and professional. Located in an old building (what isn't in the old town?) but with a modern feel to it.

Dine downstairs or on the mezzanine, because if you sit upstairs on the top level under the barrel vaulted roof, you will hear the conversation of people at other tables but not your own table. If you dine in the right part of the restaurant, you will enjoy good food served by very pleasant staff.

My family dined here while we were visiting a daughter who was studying at the Umbra Institute. Our server suggested a great wine. He also helped with how much food to order, i.e. we each ordered an appetizer and then a pasta course. However, only one entree was needed between the four of us. We thought that Osteria A. Priori... Arrived here for lunch with 11 people. We were able to get a table for all of us. Service for such a large group was good and helpful. Food was good.

Had lunch here our first day in Perugia. Sat downstairs in the wine bar and saw all the people going upstairs that had reservations. So very popular place. We really enjoyed our light lunch of soup, meat and cheese platter and a delicious ricotta cake, so we booked another night for dinner. Upstairs this time, more comfortable seating, service wasn't... Modern touches on local food. Good service. Friendly. Extensive wine list. Simple space. It's the food!

At the end of a group visit to Perugia, we were ten to dine here and had a wonderful time. Great food for a small price, great atmosfere, kind and excellent service, just the furniture was a little spartan for a few of us.

Best eating experience we had in Perugia. Simple wooden tables and chairs (not very comfortable) in the clutter of an enoteca. The food was simple Umbrian fare, served in an imaginative way and prepared with care - you could see them in the kitchen. The place was pretty busy (a mix of Italians and foreigners), so we were lucky to... More
