-Please don't go here if you are a vegetarian, vegan, or have any other dietary specifications. They falsely label food. -Also don't go here if you like restaurants that respect their clients. They are incredibly rude. While we were ordering our food, I asked the waitress if there were any products containing egg in anything I had ordered and she... More

Sansui just opened a new dining-room only for yakiniku, meaning Japanese barbecue. The meat is divine. They bring you two different cuts of beef, and a special kind of pork, pata negra, all sliced thinly, and a plate of veggies (just so you have your daily portion). You are given instructions on how to grill on the special built-in barbecue... More

Hidden behind the Gare Cornavin in the neighborhood called Les Grottes, Sansui is very centrally located but easy to miss. It is a cosy small restaurant with excellent food and good service. Take public transport or leave the car at Cornavin parking. We had lunch and enjoyed it very much. I didn't rate 5 because the selection of gluten free... More

This is a very good japonese restaurant, varied choice, very copious and tasty bento box for lunch, varied and excellent choices of main meal, with vegetarian options. High quality sushis and sashimis, very fresh fish, tasty. A perfect choice for lunch, and by summer I love to go there for a dinner outside on their terrace.

If you are craving for homemade sushis, this is the place to be. The selection is great and price is acceptable. The staff are very attentive and kind. They give you warm towel when you arrive. They also have Japanese beer and sake. They also have a selection of curry rice and fried skewers. Wonderful experience! Might be crowded during... More

I love Japanese cuisine and sushi. I loved my experience at Sansui: better sushi than most other places, and a nice variety of Japanese fare that I wasn't familiar with. The staff was very helpful in helping me understand what is what. They seem to have a passion for Japanese culture. Following their advice, for the first time in ages,... More

As highlighted in other people's review, staff members are excellent, super friendly and nice. As a starter, we ordered "Edamame (beans)", "Gyoza (dumplings)" and "Kushi-katsu (selected pork)", which are all good! especially we liked 'Gyoza'. It is also a fun for foreigners to grinding sesames by ourselves before eating "Kushi-katsu". Only areas of improvements are 1) different types of wine... More

For over 20 years, Sansui has set the standard with an authentic and varied Japanese cuisine, both homemade and affordable. Traditional dishes, hard to find in Geneva, such as udon, soba, gyoza, yakitori, tempura, tonkatsu, tofu... Quality sushi made with fresh wasabi, and yakiniku barbecue at the table. Large selection of hand-crafted sakés by the glass, Japanese beers, whiskies, and other typical drinks. Bento of the day. Shaded courtyard in summer.
