Excellent staff, welcoming and helpful - space is tiny but nicely set up. It's obviously not cheap but that's no surprise when it comes to japanese food. Have absolutely enjoyed all the meals as everything is super fresh. Even vegetarian sushis are tasty - a...More

Thank you for your comment. We are a little surprised that "not that special" granted us a "terrible" ranking, but we understand your standards are high, and we appreciate your honesty.

My friend and I were absolutely devastated by the closure of an excellent Japanese restaurant of long standing in Versoix and so we were on a lunchtime prowl for a "substitute" in Geneva. We tried Sansui which provided friendly service and a limited lunch menu...More

Thank you very much for your detailed comment and kind words. Just to be precise, we cook our sauces and preparations with "normal" shoyu, but we serve a less salted shoyu to our customers, which is appreciated especially with high quality sushi and sashimi. We...More

Firstly, I was a little upset to be misled by the fact that the restaurant changed ownership and I was not informed when making the reservation. I think customers should be made aware of that. Nevertheless, we were happily surprised by the new, cool, look...More

For over 20 years, Sansui has set the standard with an authentic and varied Japanese cuisine, both homemade and affordable. Traditional dishes, hard to find in Geneva, such as udon, soba, gyoza, yakitori, tempura, tonkatsu, tofu... Quality sushi made with fresh wasabi, and yakiniku barbecue at the table. Large selection of hand-crafted sakés by the glass, Japanese beers, whiskies, and other typical drinks. Bento of the day. Shaded courtyard in summer.
