It's a surprise walking along the river. The special location and the good cuisine makes this place a "must try"

This place is absolutely adorable. In summer, they have a cozy terrace just across the road from Leman lake. Inside, the atmosphere is intimate and friendly, with lovely decorations. Books and boardgames are provided. Food is great and desserts are stunning.

Found this place while wandering along the river around lunch time. Was thinking only of a coffee and pastry when we arrived, partly to get out of the freezing weather. The dining area is small and cozy, the staff warm and accommodating (and patient with my high school French ). We had a carrot soup (creamy, smooth, with ginger and... More

We were a group of 4 ladies who visited the Cottage Cafe for breakfast on the recommendation of the hotel we were staying in. It's in a great location over looking Lake Geneva. The place itself is very quirky, very relaxed and people brought their dogs in (not everybody will think that's ok but I think it's marvellous) There was... More

Blowing a gale in Geneva - I darted into this little cafe to escape the wind and cold. Don't want to leave now! Lovely coffee, food, and staff. Ambiance is perfect with French music playing.

We only had a coffee in here on our way back from a walk round town and before going into our hotel (Le Richemond) which is right next to the Cafe. Such a weird and wonderful building sitting in a small square between some of Geneva's grandest hotels. Its a bit like it was thrown up out of the lake... More

Will fell on this place while walking round Lake Geneva. Just behind the statue in this little green square with vies of the fountain was what looked like a little wooden cabin. On inspection it was a cosy little café with a lovely log fire burning outside. Although only 4 degrees the sun was out and with cosy covers on... More

A reunion of old friends gathering in Geneva is always a special occasion - and this small, quaint restaurant proved to be a perfect choice for tasty food, excellent wine, very good ambiance, friendly service and laughter all around. We went for dinner and they only serve tapas. The list is long (provided in French and in English) and we... More

Situated on Place des Alpes, this Café and restaurant is charming and offers a nice view of both Brunswick Monument and the Jet d'Eau. Guests can choose from a broad variety of international tapas of high quality. But beware: You will pay not only for the food served, but for the view offered, too. So be prepared for a price...
