Was looking for somewhere different to the hotel we where staying in to have breakfast (as it was priced at CHF25 per person) whilst in Geneva. Found this place via TripAdvisor as it was just around corner from hotel and wasn't disappointed. Lovely pastries, great coffee really reasonable prices, good atmosphere and lovely service given with a smile. Highly recommend... More

OK for a spot of light breakfast but nothing more really. Very basic inside but fairly inexpensive and the coffee and croissants were fine.

This is a little slice of heaven. We were lucky to be there for Easter and were like kids In a sweet shop. We loved the ham and cheese Portuguese croissant . But honesty all the desserts, breads, biscuits pastries to die for! There are tables inside and out side. Nothing fancy just a nice loach place serving top bakery... More

I've tried quite a few of the bakeries here, and So Mel is far and away my favourite. It might not look like much on the inside, but the baked goods are delicious. I've had the croissants, the pain au chocolats, the natas, the boules de Berlin -- all unfailingly good. Considering the quality, way better than the more touristy... More

Me and my colleague always eat our breakfast at this place when we are in Geneva. Their pastries are extremely various and very good. They also have good and generous coffee and real orange juice from oranges you can see being pressed. The staff is also very nice and the general atmosphere is friendly. It usually costs us between 6... More

My Portuguese colleagues have been bringing in natas for the past three years. Every time they melt in your mouth. Without fault. I ordered 50 two nights before for a Friday breakfast. No issues whatsoever. Bring cash!

Looked for a simple place for a quick breakfast....and find the perfect spot....and in Geneva of all places. Little Portuguese bakery that has great coffee, fresh orange juice and pasteis that are fantastic; sandwiches and toustadas also available. Perfect to start the day on the right foot.

I first tried So Mel's products when a colleague brought some to the office. I have since passed by several times. What I end us taking every time are natas, Portuguese traditional little custard pies on fluffy puff pastry. They are just amazing and today I took a few with me to serve as the dessert at a family dinner.... More
