Pretty good service for Switzerland restaurant speed (slow if you're used to American restaurants) food was very good in fact burger was excellent.

We visited Barry’s after reading positive reviews on TA and were not disappointed. The restaurant is super family-friendly (my daughter was given an activity pack and soft toy on arrival). Barry’s has a fantastic ambience- v warm atmosphere and the service was faultless. Our waiter...More

This place is very popular and busy with tourists. We still got a place outside on a terrace on a cold evening. The bartender spoke English fluently but she was too busy so we ordered a fondue and she didn't even have enough time to...More

What struck me most about this place was the staff. They were very accommodating and took time to explain everything and anything to us. The food was good, not extraordinary but good. My husband & I asked for beef/ veal fondue and of course the...More

We loved the approach of Barrys in Grindelwald, yes there is swiss cuisine, but also stir fry and other options. Importantly, they maintain top quality throughout. The waiter that served us had a thorough understanding of their comprehensive winelist, and which wines to recomend, always...More

We went here for my husband's birthday and had a very nice time. Having read the reviews, we knew that fondue portions were huge so we ordered one to share. It is good that this restaurant doesn't have a 2-person minimum for cheese fondue. The...More

We both had trout served with lovely vegetables and rice. If you have a mobility problem there are a lot of steps to negotiate , be particularly careful on the way down. The atmosphere and service were also of a good standard.

Hands down best place in town!! Largest and most varied selection of food and drinks (all very tasty and beautifully prepared), always friendly, helpful and genuine (not like many other places in Grindelwald). Our number one favourite to return to and recommend to anyone.

We walked into Barry's before they started to serve dinner and without reservation. Instead of turning us back, they welcomed us and served us wonderfully. The food was good, the people were kind and hospitable and the overall experience was wonderful Thank you

Well, they do feature fondue. I would highly recommend staying in any other place than Grindelwald. It is very very touristy.
