We had dinner at the Marmorbruch with the other guests from our hotel and it's owners. It was an authentic Swiss experience and we loved it. The owners serve up deliciously fresh food and with a smile. We loved our evening there. Not easy to find which makes it even more unique and worth visiting.

We happend to find the place while wandering around Grindelwald searching for a place to picnic. The food was so good we wanted to come back for the next day. And because of the lovely owners and authentic environment we also booked for the next night (canceling another hotel). We had a greate experience in an outstanding view.

It is not easy to find, but worth the effort. Very casual. We were the only non-locals. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The food was fresh and good. Good Swiss cooking. The steak was very good. Great place to watch the sunset.

Very lovely place to have dinner. Great food, very reasonable priced and the owners are so lovely. Great view, authentic place, pretty small and a nice walk up from Grindelwald. Also easy to reach by car and free parking. The soup we got was great, the meat dishes and salads excellent. And the portions were big so we had no... More

The owner was very friendly and we enjoyed our visit. We'll go back for a meal next time. The hotel has basic rooms and looked very clean.

Anita and Wali are great hosts and sometimes the cooks too. We had a variety of things for breakfast and dinner during our 2 night stay here. Their English was very good and they loved telling stories about their motor biking trips to the US. There were couples, singles, and even a large birthday/anniversary celebration dinner (locals) one night while... More

Was staying here and ate in for two nights. I was served the dish of the day on two occasions and the food and service were excellent. Struggled to finish all three courses but enjoyed every mouthful. Hot, plentiful and tasty sums it up for me and service with a warm and friendly smile.

We stopped here twice during out holiday and were impressed by the food in this small, rustic restaurant. The first time was for lunch on the walk down from Pfingstegg on a wet, cold day when we had hearty broth with lots of fresh bread. We later visited it in the evening for a 4 course meal which was very... More

Our local family took us for a meal up to Marmorbruch in Grindelwald. Tucked on the side of a mountain this little rustic place offered amazing food and neat locals to visit. The owners are Harley riding fans which made my husband happy. They speak English well which while not mandatory for a fantastic meal, added to the experience! I... More
