We came in for a casual lunch and took the lunchtime Tagesmenu. Not only was it very economical, especially for Swiss standards (17.5 CHF for salad bar, by portion of pasta with shrimps and dessert), but also delicious! Although the restaurant was full, service was quick and efficient. Recommended for lunch!

Interesting how different reviewers come away from a place with different impressions. Recent prior reviewers found "excellent service." To me, the brusqueness of the gentleman who was maitre d' was not acceptable. But, he was not alone. My server was no better. She was extremely rude, when my credit card could not final process, and she refused to accept it.... More

Have extremely low expectations. We ordered two pizzas and both had the wrong ingredients. I complained about mine. The owner (or at least the guy who always seemed to be running the place) tried to tell me that "pepperoni" was red and green bell peppers. I told him he was wrong. I think he knew he had no excuse as... More

We stopped in after a day on the snow and we were greeted with a smile. The food was great, can't complain about perfect stone fire pizza - crispy crust and good olive oil made us clean our plates. But what really surprised us was the service! We haven't had service as friendly as this in years! Are we still... More

We've been there for dinner, make sure you have a reservation, as mentioned, this is always crowded. We asked for Lasagna / Risotto, both dishes were simply delicious. The portions are generous and the staff is really friendly. Prices are decent and they furthermore have a wide range of wine & cigarres they offer! We ate for CHF 70 for... More

We ended up at Grottino on our first evening as everything else was closed, we had pizzas(both average in flavor and size) which was fine for a backup plan. The service was mediocre as it seems we were disturbing the staff more than anything else..

We stopped for pizza here on a lunchtime while my boys were waiting to start ski school. The pizzas are OK, nothing memorable, but there's a very wide choice. Service was unsmiling but efficient. Prices, like everything else in Arosa, are eye-watering for what you get. Worth booking ahead to see if you can get a window seat towards the... More

We went for dinner here with friends and family. The place is packed and the waiters very busy. Pizza and pasta are good. Due to it being so busy I feel it lacks atmosphere and attention to service. Great if you just want to eat, but not a place to go for a dining experience.
