We took the funicular up to literally the top of the world. The view from the restaurant's terrace is breathtaking. The food and service were ok. Nothing to complain about. Prices aren't terrible knowing where you are.

We have visited this place many times and its always delivers. Its location is very central, its outdoor seating is great, service is very good and the food is good as well. Prices are, as always in SM, on the high end. We will be back!

Had lunch here whilst spending a day in St Moritz. Good, wholesome food with a view to die for. Staff friendly and offering a welcoming ambience. Great for non-skiers as accessed by funicular from the center of St Moritz. Situated right in the heart of the ski slopes enabling one to soak up the winter atmosphere.

We had lunch here while skiing the Alps. The restaurant was very full but we got a table right away. Service was slow and the food was overpriced but tasty. The views were incredible and the reason that we came.

It is my 9th year coming to Mathis restaurant in Corviglia. We make sure to reserve in advance, and plan our week around this outing to one of our favorite restaurants in all of St. Moritz. We usually have impeccable service, delicious food, and are always satisfied and energized to go back on the piste. Unfortunately, today was a completely... More

There are actually two restaurants at the lower level of the Corviglia ski station - the Mathis Brasserie and the Mathis La Marmite. Last year we ate at the Brasserie and were not impressed. This year we ate three times at the La Marmite, and although it's more expensive, the food is much better than at the Brasserie. The views... More

We went for lunch, 4 People. I had Consommé with vegetable Julienne (beef broth) and celery Risotto with pike-perch baked on the Skin. The soup came lukewarm; I had to send it back. The celery Risotto war completely without spices/salt and was horrible - the fish was very good. I told the Chef, who disappeared into the kitchen, only to... More

Finally you don't have to go to Austria to have a nice meal in a great atmosphere while you're skiing. We had a great lunch followed by a spectacular dessert buffet. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but so is everything in the mountains. So, price-value-relation is quite ok (compared to what you get all around.

This place had been recommended by friends. What a disappointment. The huge picture windows are lovely, but radiate the cold. Service was friendly but inexperienced, he kept forgetting about us. Food was a disappointment - we could not finish the Roesti (not good) and the desserts looked way better than they tasted. All in all no reason to come back,... More
