Elsie Bar use to be one of my favorite places in Zermatt. I would visit every day I was in town. It was a wonderful social place where I often hoped there would be a place for me to squeeze in at the bar. It...More

Been at Elsie's a couple of times before, and we've had some splendid dinners, but this time something was different. The normally packed dinner tables (upstairs) was almost empty. The boss was drunk, the waiter was slow and not responsive and the food was tasteless....More

Sat outside on the raised terrace and watched the world go by over a couple of drinks. Service was good and friendly and a welcome break after a day of walking and exploring. Well located in the main square

Outside seating on a raised patio with nice views over the centre of the village. Good Swiss beers and a variety of bottled beers in fridge. Staff friendly and efficient. Upstairs, traditional restaurant open only in winter.
