The food was good, but very pricy especially when the you consider the slow service. Luckily the older waitress was really nice

Just arrived in Lausanne, we were attracted by the oriental shaped neons around the windows. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor, and the entry door is barely visible... but inside the place is big, and quite busy on a Saturday night. Our table neighbor told us about the ticket you need to pick under the entry mat to get... More
I quite liked the decoration of the restaurant... it was comfortable and ambient. The menu offers many different options, notably a large (cold) mezze section and different types of couscous dishes. If you are a vegetarian, you will have plenty of options. The food itself was average... no huge complaints, it just wasn't delicious. The price is (as far as... More
The restaurant has a nice decor, with a peculiar ceiling. The service is really nice. Nevertheless, it was very noisy, and we had problems to talk to each other. Talking about food, we ordered merguez and a combo of 9 different meze: the quality of the merguez was just great, tasty and spicy, perfect with harissa! On the other side... More
The place has not changed in years; you still find vouchers for free merguez below the carpet at the entrance. The tables are way to close to one another so you cannot have a private conversation and you cannot avoid any conversation around you. People smoke in the staircase leading to the restaurant so every time to door opens and... More
We visited Couscous while visiting Lausanne for a few days and we're not disappointed. The decor and layout were very cool, giving the feeling of a cozy restaurant while still having plenty of room to ourselves. The food was absolutely amazing. Definitely go for one of the Mezzés, which are lots of smaller plates, so you can try and share... More
We ordered vegetarian couscous and it was huge disappointment, old veggies with some kind of souce that tasted like coloured water. The price was much too high. I strongly don't recommend going there if you are vegetarian or if you are not. You will get better deal by any street imbiss.
Dont go! are the best words to describe this restaurant. Really DONT ever go!!! is even better if you are a vegitarian . Now, a few facts are important so that the BAD review is grounded in fact. > The food was flavorless > The sauces are very watery. > The restaurant is understaffed. What is not acceptable is that... Easy to find, super nice interior, friendly waitress and super yummie food. We had a special dish for 2 Persons with contained 9 plates with different dishes (served mostly vegetarian and cold). You should def. go there!!! Oh and have some maroccan mint tea.
