Having lived in Lausanne for 12 years, I always look for good Asian restaurants, especially Vietnamese. As I did not have much exposure to the cuisine, I wanted to have my real first experience at a good restaurant. I finally did at le Jasmin! I went there to celebrate birthday of my semi-vegetarian friend in March 2017. I thought it... More

To me it's the best vietnamese food you can find in Lausanne. Prices are very decent and the staff is friendly. And more over the food is authentic vietnamese food.

This small, out-of-the-way restaurant consistently serves delicious Vietnamese cuisine, whether you enjoy the soups, the starters, salads or the entrees. The Crepes Jasmin are always a favorite: thick wide rice noodles topped with roasted porc, sprouts and a light, delicious sauce on the side. Of a similar but distinct nature is the Spécialité Porc Laqué: thickly sliced roasted porc with... More

After reading all the positive reviews about this restaurant I decided to try it out. When I first arrived I wasn't sure if I was at the right place. I did not have a warm welcome and the decor was extremely poor. I did not feel that I was in a restaurant. However, the food was very good despite the... More

Hidden in a so so neighborhood - this family owned restaurant is a magic. A jewel. The father is cooking , daughter - speaks English and always happy to translate, and husband serve and help. So friendly. And the place was full. Good vibes. No wonder why as the food was SUPERB! We tasted / ate a lot and everything... More

So this month I must admit, I visited the jasmin in lausanne twice! The spot might seem a little creepy when you visit it the first time but inside is a real jewel of coziness and tranquility. We had some issues choosing what we wanted to eat so our dinner was composed of these Appetizers: eggplant fritters (delicious, one of... More

Authentic food making you feel being in a restaurant in heart of Vietnam. The food is very good and the staff is friendly. Prices are fair. However the restaurant itself is a little noisy but I will come back again.

Staffs are friendly and gave good recommendation. Food is great and reasonable price. Parking is a bit challenging as the open parking in front of restaurant is full but the staff allowed us to park in front of their private garage - very nice. Looking from outside is nothing attractive at all and to certain degree, quite demotivating to try.... More

I was here with my Korean friend and the phone soup is like the Korean favorite. Personnaly I tooked the jasmin duck an I loved it. Plus the waiters are awesome nice! They deserve definitively a place closer to the center and nicer but go there it's amazing food so far.
