The coffee shop is located somewhat hidden in a small alley close to the St. Peter's church. It is a tiny place with a unique interior and taken care by friendly staff - somewhat like a hidden jewel lost in a big city. Apart from good coffees, teas and a good selection of cakes, they serve as well breakfast and... More

... cafe I have ever visited (so far). The interior design is dated but the coffee was nice and fresh as was the cake.

This little cafe is simply charming. We were buying chocolate at Max Chocolatier and they suggested Cafe Weggen for a quick bite. Its location is so perfect, tucked away in the small alley and only accessible by foot.

This is a lovely little cafe in a narrow street close to St Peter's and the staff are friendly and welcoming. There is some limited outside seating on a steep incline, but this adds to the experience. The coffee and food are excellent.

This was a cute little café in a little street in Zurich. When we went there it was run (very well) by just 1 friendly barista/waiter/cashier/manager. Coffee was great. Didn't have food but the "self serve" croissants on the table looked and smelled amazing. I want to move to Zurich just so I have access to that cafe. :D

Very pleasant ambience, set in an easy-to-miss side street near the church of St.Peter. Limited menu but we enjoyed a toasted sandwich with our coffee

For family, for a quick morning cofee or an early glass of wine, Cafe Weggen is a very calm and warm place to sit down after a walking tour in Zürich. The ladies that run the place are trully lovely and the tall man is unique in style and welcoming character. I was there twice, on my way to Berlin... More

Café Weggen is run by a really beautiful lady and during my visit she was very welcoming. She was smiling to all the customers that entered the café. As the café is very small, they still offer a full menu of food from breakfast, lunch (soup, salad, beef, asparagus, schnitzel) and dinner. Overall, a surprising amount of food for such... More

I'd been recommended to visit cafe Weggen for the hit chocolate. I was not disappointed. It's a lot better than the usual Coatina you get almost everywhere else in Zurich

Located next to a quiet alley, high ceiling and oil painting on the wall. The classy decoration and the leather cover on the chair really remind one of Paris. The owner is very friendly and there are a decent breakfast menu, lunch menu and a beautiful display full of... cheese cake. For our first visit, we had the grilled fish... More
