Wonderful family run restaurant, just a 5 minute walk from Tiefenbrunnen Station. It's a small restaurant (would have thought you need to book) and the interior is decorated in the style of a chalet. It really feels like you're in somebody's home. The food was wonderful - I'd recommend the starter of mushrooms in white wine and cream sauce, served... More

Last night we went for a birthday dinner to test a new restaurant in Zurich. My friend, who lives in Zurich, had heard a lot of good comments about the place, so we went to test it. The food

Here you sit like in a luxe yet authentic St Moritz Chalet just outside of Zurich. Swiss cuisine, the very best ingredients and a Family-run Business for generations. There is simply no reason to visit any other places once you've been there. Rösti perfection, a wonderful host, like a family really. Attitude free worth every penny.

one of my Swiss friends invited us for dinner and I would say that this is probably the best traditional Swiss food I ever had. The inside of the restaurant is barely bigger than my living room, and looks a bit like it is on a traditional Swiss Alm :). We enjoyed 'Bündner Fleisch', Flädle Soup and Salads as starters... More

It is a very cosy place, in a beautiful old and typical house. The food is typical and excellent and hard to beat. I always have the minced veal with rösti and it was always delicious. I can highly advise

It felt like we were entering someone's house for dinner... and after being attended to, it felt like we were at a relative's home! The service was wonderful and full of advice. The food was generous, hearty and delicious. My two teenagers loved their meaty meals and I adored my mushroom dish. A really nice experience in a residential area... More

We visited here as part of a group as our host had advised us that the food was amongst the best in Switzerland and that it was very traditional. We were not disappointed on either front. The food was exceptionally good and the hospitality perfect. The main course of sliced veal had a side dish of kidneys (since some people... More

If you are in Zurich and want a complete Swiss dinner experience, this is the place. It was the best meal ever had in town. The restaurant is owned by the same family since 1949 and as soon as you step in you will be transported to a cabin in the Alps. Low ceiling, all wooden walls, decoration thought into... More

Awesome little place, a real gem in zurich. Very cute, as if you go back in time a bit. The bouillon (broth) is a must, they serve it in a big silver bowl on your table with little noodles and croutons to float inside, tastes absolutely delicious, exactly as it is supposed to. The rösti is cooked to perfection, as... More

This was a recommendation from a friend whom we were meeting for dinner. The place is cute, small and cosy. A warm atmosphere. Definitely one I would think about in winter. (I heard there have an outdoor garden, maybe a good try for spring too.) The entrees were delicious. My partner had the nüsslisalat as did everyone else. Mine was... More
