Little gem in Zürich. Best on Sunday afternoon, especially on a sunny day. Cool, simple, alternative crowd and the BEST schale (milk coffe) in the entire universe! Also, the cakes are super tasty! Beyond that, the staff is always smiling and happy :) love it!

Cafe du Bonheur is a bit off the city center, close to the former train freight station. It sits at a large square that sports few cars and provides a very nice setting. In summer, the cafe has lots of seating outside. We went for brunch, which was a choice of about 8 items on a small menu card. We... More

I stopped by Café du Bonheur just after they opened for the day and inquired if they had soy milk and the nice gentleman stated yes. I ordered a hot chocolate (5CHF). While waiting just a few moments for my beverage, the nice gentleman gave me the Wi-Fi code. I observed and smelled nice, fresh breads being baked in the... More

Popped in here at lunchtime for dessert and coffee. The restaurant was heaving with diners but we took the opportunity of the lovely weather to sit outside and enjoy a delicious dessert. I chose the cheescake which was onne of the best I have tasted. Recommended.

The lunch menu and the pastries were amazing. Simple and very tasty. I love the casual style. You feel home away from home. The terrasse is a unique gem in town. I am back soon again.

Recently moved to Zurich and on the hunt for nice casual cafes, I came across Cafe du Bonheur recently. It's definitely not mainstream and a nice menu (mostly seasonal) to go with its character. Definitely worth a visit.

The cafe is situated in a very quiet area, you can sit in the square surrounded by a fountain, trees and flowers and drink wine. The food is also great. Perfect place for a summer relax.

This small café has a lot of character. It's cool and not mainstream at all. It's a nice hangout. I come often on Sunday morning and it is usually full of people for brunch. I never tried the brunch myself, but coffee, hot chocolate, cappuccino are all great.

We tried this place in the spirit of discovering something new, brunch away from the city center. The best thing we can say is that it is easy to reach by public transport. Everything else about the restaurant was rather disappointing. It is puzzling why such an artistic place would have a menu that can fit on a napkin but... More

A special night out with friends and family. The menu is unique and intentionally small which makes it very special. A definite visit!
