For the Dutch it is quite a shock to find a country where prices are even higher than at home - that country is Switzerland. You need this context to understand the elevated price levels at Luca2. Having said that, the food is quite excellent,...the wine very well paired, the service Italianesque exuberant and very attentive indeed, the pace perfect, and the location no less than ideal since opposite our temporary lodgings on the Asylstrasse (Swiss City apartments). We come often to this place, due to the super quality and creativity of the dishes served. The attention to detail and the superfriendly service are also one of the key features. Strongly recommended!

We identified this restaurant of TripAdvisor when visiting our son who lives in Zurich. We contacted the restaurant by email and had a quick response confirming reservation. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed and shown to our table on the terrace. The staff were...very attentive. We had some wonderful prosecco. The menu is not long which for me is always a good sign as they focus on the dishes to make them perfect. They were wonderful! The food is fresh and flavoursome. The wine was delicious too. We come from time to time to visit our son and will definitely visit here again.More

Owned by two Italian Lucas, the food was vibrant and bursting with flavor. I had the Veal Scallopini with lemon sauce and the Veal was so tender I could cut it with my fork. The lemon sauce was vibrant, a bit tangy and I wanted...to lick the plate. My mother in laws dish was so colorful and just as delicious. The Lucas come from Italy and you can tell! Pasta was fresh and homemade. Well worth coming here. We were so happy!More

We ended up by chance in this restaurant (Facebook suggested us) and although the location is small you immediately feel at home. Service is great: people smiles at you, they take your coat and you have this feeling of someone caring of you while having...dinner. Food is definitely the key point in this place: few dishes prepared with dedication and super tasteful are waiting only to be discovered. My suggestions: oktopus, risotto with nduja, tartare. Price is honest, considering you are in zurich, we paid around 200 (including a good bottle of wine) Definetely a place to go and to recommend! The surprise of the small dessert to sweet the bill is genial! ;) So now I hope you will go to the place but please leave me always a table there!!!!More

After three years living in this neighbourhood, I can say that Luca 2 is my favourite restaurant in Kreis 7. Nice atmosphere, superfriendly staff, perfect food and extensive wine list. Maybe some pricey but you know... Zürich :D

Beautifully conceived and executed dishes, convivial atmosphere and expertly selected wines. A 'must visit'.
