This was the highlight dinner during our recent trip to France. We’d stopped and booked earlier in the day (whilst riding past on our bikes) & my partner thought the owner was a bit off hand with him. However when we arrived later it was a charming evening all round. The dining room is not huge so booking is essential as all tables were filled. Dining furniture comfortable and probably all new this season. We selected the 3 courses starting with half a dozen oysters and the smoked salad blinis. Both were excellent. We then selected a local fish dish of white and smoked fish - delicious, although other diners were tucking into half a lobster which looked exceedingly good too. Desert was traditional crème brûlée and sorbet accompanied by a bottle of vodka! The accompanying wine complimented the food. Lovely restaurant, Fred and his staff were gracious, beautiful outlook over the sea.

The perfect place for a meal to lick its babes. Everything was really excellent. The service was fast and efficient. Whether it's mussels or sauerkraut of the sea.. ..yummy. I'd come back to it if I wasn't just passing through for a few vacations. Too far for me but really feel free to stop there.

Wonderful find. Friendly, attentive service and the food is to die for. Quality v Price is unbeatable. Known for its seafood platters but the rest of the menu is simple but so well done. Best steak I’ve had for ages and the choucroute de la mer is exceptional. The desserts are seriously a cut above the rest!
