Dinner here was a real experience, the atmosphere, the food and the service were all exceptional. The portion sizes of the meal were large and while not particularly cheap they were very good value for money. Sharing the seafood platter for four as a starter...More

Extensive menu. Attentive, good service. Very large, excellent steak pie. Let down by the chips that were greasy and tasted as though the cooking oil needed changing.

We took my mother for lunch on a miserable Friday afternoon. It was as wonderful as ever. We tried the pies which they are known for, whilst they were lovely, their burgers are fantastic. We'll definitely return
