I was looking for a spanish or portuguese restaurant and found this. It was exactly what i was looking for. A place where you Can get Wine by the pitcher, where you are served fresh bread with olive oils and garlic butter and where you feel comfortable even if you come alone. The waiter was really nice and explained about... More

a quiet family owned restaurant that serves traditional Portuguese food. Perhaps because we arrived early, there was little problem getting a table.

I will go back soon and recommend to my friends. Staff is extremely kind. You won't regret if you order "bacalhau na brasa com batatas". The house flam or chocolate mousse are excellent choices for dessert.

Great traditional Portuguese food. Tucked away along a side road, the atmosphere of the restaurant makes it feel like you're in Portugal 🇵🇹

This place was so accommodating for our group of 10. The food was amazing. They bring out complimentary bread and butter and the butter is truly amazing. I had five pieces of bread. I got their vegetarian dish which was full of fresh veggies and very well seasoned. The rice was amazing. My friends all got different meats and fish... More

good service, excellent wines, good food. In the hart of the city, simple and honest. I had a cataplana dish with meat and sea food. The meat was a bit too chewy though, but the overall taste was good, felt like home made. The starters were good, the variation of desserts was poor, but again I more of dessert person.

Cozy and quiet restaurant. We were looking for some good food but we're seeing mostly burgers and bar food. Then we came upon Portugalia. So glad we did. They were warm and hospitable. They helped us with the menu. - since we speak neither Portuguese nor Dutch. The Sea Breem was delicious. Served with fresh vegetables and a salad. House... More

The restaurant was recommended to us by a young couple who live and work nearby. We were glad we went. The house wine was a great way to start the evening. The house special pork was a delicious, as was their fish of the day. It was a small restaurant with friendly service and relaxing atmosphere--exactly what we wanted.
