We came here a couple of years ago and loved the relaxed atmosphere and great food. I was so pleased to see that the restaurant hadn't changed and it was lovely to return. A great start to your day in Amsterdam.

I love Bagels & Beans, their Tuna Bagel is amazing, never fails and it's not expensive either. Also tried another bagel with cream cheese. Will go back for sure!

Arriving hot and tired, we wanted a pleasant space to sit and a fairly light lunch. We chose our bagels from the pretty extensive list - you choose both the bagel type and its filling. I went for buffalo mozzarella, salad etc, rather than a hot bagel, given the temperature outside. So I was a bit surprised to find my... More

If you are up early to dogde the queue for museum tickets or feeling a bit hungry after museum wandering this place is perfect. Bagel with honey and goat cheese is super tasty and filling. You should try something from their tea collection as well.

Best gluten free bagels ever, so delicious. So many different fillings to choose from. You could go for breakfast/lunch/dinner. I'd definitely recommend.

This chain breakfast spot is a reliable place to get a bite. For six Euros you can get a bagel, cream cheese, jam, coffee and juice. The staff is nice enough. Clean, quick, good quality.

Great place to stop if you are going to the museums. The bagels were warm and fresh and had a bunch of options. And my son literally had the best hot chocolate I have ever tried. It came with steamed milk and he had to add the chocolate to it. Yum!!

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
