Quite a dilapidated restaurant with very worn carpets and tired decor. The table cloths were also carpet which also seemed worn and didn't inspire me with confidence in their cleanliness. My food was pretty mediocre but my partner had a slow cooked stewy thing which...More

We have been here before on breaks to Amsterdam and as usual the food and service was excellent. Definitely recommend this restaurant if you want good Dutch food a bit of the beaten track.

What a friendly, relaxed place! No attempts to be trendy - just good, well-cooked, rather old-fashioned food at reasonable prices served by efficient but laid-back waiters.

Happened on this delightful restaurant by chance , and then learned how popular it is from other reviews. Food is very good, portions are generous, prices reasonable and the atmosphere charming. See the "bouquet" of napkins on each table in others' photos -- an unexpected...More
