Do not be fooled by the appealing facade of this restaurant, a smiling face and a decent menu tricked us into one of the worst experiences of my life. I ordered a mixed grill, eagerly excited for the meal I was bitterly disappointed with what I got... the ribs and chips were ok but the steak resembled a dead rat... More

Just been there with my friend. Had couple of drinks and some steaks. Overpriced for the quantity they gave us. Small piece of steak for 14€, weird. Anyway, totaling a bill of 45€ they added 10% of tips to the bill when you are supposed to pay by card (51€ in total). Don't go there! Not reliable ! DON'T GO!

We went here for my partners 30th Birthday who fancied Mexican food! The restaurant also offers Italian (mainly pizzas) and argentine meat foods! There was 4 of us. We hadn't been able to research where to go prior to visiting and I asked who I presume is the owner whether there was anything they could offer to make it slightly... More

We were unfortunate enough to pop in for food as we were exploring the lively streets of Amsterdam. I'am never one for writing a bad review but this was without a doubt the worst restaurant meals I've ever seen in my life!! The Burrito's me & my partner ordered were deep fried, grease dripping junk food - packed with revolting... More

The restaurant gladly accommodated our group of ten and it pretty much went down hill from there. The female waitressing staff were polite, professional and friendly. The male waiter was none of those things. He treated us customers in a very degrading way. The food was just OK- the pizzas are probably your best option if you come here. But... More

I was in Amsterdam with a group of friends and was forced to eat here. They take advantage of tourists and the food is horrible.

The food was awfully dry (even Arizona is not so dry) so we ordered some sauce for the meat and the fries... which in decent restaurant is included in the price. This is an asbolute rip-off as we had to pay for the rice although the waitress said you can choose between fries and rice. We've been charged extra money... More

This used to be one of the branches of Cafe Pacifico, with restaurants in London & Amsterdam offering very OK mexican food and good ambience. Now it's a very bad place with plastic menus offering Mexican and Argentinian food called only "Pacifico". And it's a really bad place! The Mexican food choices have been reduced significantly, probably to reduce number... More

Very nice place and the Mexican food is tasty. Open late, while all the rest are closing. Jimmy is very nice! The steak needs some salt and then it is very good! Thank you!

Me and my boyfriend went to this place and the start was ok. The female waitor was nice... but first of all we waited for our order for the longest time and when it came, my boyfriend's stake was over done and my fish was completely raw. I sent mine back and waited again. When it finally came the dish... More

Staying in Red Light District (De Wallen)

Neighbourhood Profile
Red Light District (De Wallen)
To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to view some of the city’s most picturesque canals, historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples of traditional local architecture – not to mention Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some less salubrious activities drawing the curious to this age-old part of time. Nevertheless, the Red Light District is still a very safe and incredibly fascinating area where at the turn of a corner you can be transported from the dingy glow of modern day neon red to a glorious 16th century Delft blue dreamscape.
