We visited here for breakfast on the way out for the day. It was nice and empty but then rained and unfortunately this meant the placed got really crowded. The waiting staff were really nice.

The Apple pie is so tasty, just wondering is it from Winkel 43? If it is not, I must said It's so delicious, my Daughter had a chocolate muffin and it was so tasty! Everything we had goes well with Heineken beer!👍

Great location to all museums, and great outdoor seating in nice weather. We stopped for lunch, salads and sandwich after a full morning in the museum. Very busy day, but good service and food in a very relaxed atmosphere. Thus is a park like setting, trees , grass etc. Glad we gave it a try !

Near the Van Gogh Museum so handy for food before or after. Quick service & good food. One has to pay for the toilet but give the waiter the receipt & you get the amount 0.50€ deducted from the bill. V popular but quite a quick turnover. Local & tourists all me.

I was sightseeing with my parents and the day was cold. We stopped at Cobra Cafe to warm up and a little rest. I had a hot chocolate and there I had the first poffertjes of my life. I loved!! So if you stop there, order poffertjes! They are small fluffy pancakes covered with powder sugar. It is a must... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
