The fries are always freshly made to the perfect crisp. Me and my boyfriend got the classic, which is just mayo on top. I don't really eat mayo but it went perfectly with these fries! If you go to Amsterdam, you HAVE to go to...More

Fresh crispy golden fries with a soft interior. You haven't experienced the Dutch way if you haven't tried Vleminckz!

We stumbled upon the place, can't believe we waited in line for fries... but they were yummy and reasonably priced.

After reading all these reviews for this place I forced my family to stop here with me even though we had frites at another place already. The line moved quickly but i just was not impressed with the frites. They tasted old and not fresh.

We did not go to this place on purpose but were actually puzzled and amazed by the relatively long queue (40+ people waiting for fries...). Not sure whether these fries are the best in town, definitely had better in other places, but the concept is...More

Solid but pretty much like everywhere else. Don't go out of your way to visit THIS particular place. Staff gruff but not in that "charming" way.

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of
tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists
and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the
best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe.
Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops
of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones
Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods
such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring

They do it all on site. We peeked in and saw they had it all happening right there.

I think you might have already traveled by now. There is a train you could take from the airport that brings you to the railway station, and then you could take a tram or ferry depending on where you are staying.
