I rarely write reviews. Only for the very best or very worst. This one was the worst. Food was cold when it arrived, mine tasted nothing kind pasta bolognese but it did taste of soap. The red wine was fizzy and my partners pesto sauce was also pretty dire. We ate a few mouthfuls before feeling too sick. The manager... More

Ate several times here, twice for evening meal which was delicious and once for breakfast which was filling and good value. Fish and chips were delicious. Waitresses were friendly and service was efficient

Visited Amsterdam for the day and called in here for lunch. We had fricadellas and meatball with fries and both were very filling and reasonably priced. Paid around 25 euros including drinks. Great clean place with a friendly and quick service would definatley recomend and visit again if we were in the city.

We ate at least half our breakfasts here as our hotel breakfast was about double what we paid here. My favourite was the apple cinnamon pancake. Service was quick and the food was good.

After a long flight from the US and a decent nights sleep, we were famished for a great breakfast. We found it at De Vergulde Lantaarn. Glad we stopped. Omelette's were great and very large. Enjoyed them thoroughly. I thought the prices were reasonable and a very good value.

One of our meals came first then after a 30minute wait the other persons food came. Pathetic customer service, waste of time. When questioned was told there was a problem in the kitchen. Not my problem.

This place does breakfast, lunch and dinner and is a great option for hotel guests. Our hotel charges €25 pp for breakfast which is a bit of a rip off, so we came to this cafe and paid less than half the hotel fee. Use Google maps to find the place because it is not on the main transport route... More

This is very little but cosy place. You have very little choise of main course in the menu. We've ordered fish and chips and got a big plate with lots of code fish and chips. It tasted great for me, but seemed a little fat for my husband. The food was served quite quickly and the service was overall great.... More
