A short walk from central station, this is definitely the best Irish pub in Amsterdam. Whether you want a seat by the canal or a proper dark and dingy Irish pub feel inside, you won't be disappointed. Molly Malone's has a large selection of pub...More

Lovely pub with amazing staff, you may think this pub looks dark and dinge but it isn't that is all part of the experience of an Irish but, the meal was lovely with very nice staff and not bad for the price. Must see for...More

My wife and I always visit here on our visits to the Dam, home from home food and drink and always friendly staff around serving up food and drink. Prices aren't too bad either compared to other spots closer to the Dam square area. I...More

We have been to this bar a number of times over the years but our experience last Saturday was terrible. I ordered the Roast Beef which upon first appearance looked fine. Unfortunately, as soon as I bit into it, two things struck me.... 1) This...More

Had breakfast here which was part of the hotel France accommodation. "you need your room card holder, not the room card". Food is ok, coffee is good but I was made to feel like an imposter. I watched as both owners repeatedly disrespect customers who...More

FAT GUY WITH Ponytail (wait staff) ripped us off E50... count out your bill at the table... do not hand it over.. he comes back and says you shorted him (lesson learned = pay with credit card)

Red Light District (De Wallen)
To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the
Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its
saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to
view some of the city’s most picturesque canals,
historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples
of traditional local architecture – not to mention
Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist
temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some

Welcome to Molly Malone’s; an Irish pub as it should be! Irish charm, Old world hospitality, lovely food, live music sessions, friendly staff and of course loads of craic; Molly’s has it all! Molly's is located in an historic, former warehouse on the edge of Amsterdam's famous Red Light District and just a couple of minutes walk to the Central Station. Our canal-side terrace faces out towards the St. Nicholas church and is a hot-spot for locals and tourists to relax and take in the lazy life of this delightful Dutch neighbourhood. The interior is lined with old whiskey barrels and aged Irish antiques, and the magnificent oak bar captures the spirit of Irish history in the heart of old Amsterdam. We hope to see you soon!
