The restaurant is in a nice area of Amsterdam. We had lunch here with our choir. It was easy to organise and book the lunch and the manager was very accommodating. The food was great and the staff very friendly.

I dined here with a friend a week ago. We sat inside because the outdoor seats were all taken, so the waitress were friendly and welcomed us very nicely. They took sometime to come and take our order because the restaurant was almost packed, but we managed to place our order after 10-12 minutes and we got the food after... More

Great atmosphere, great staff and great food. However, we asked for some bread (as a starter) and they cheekily gave us all the sauces (costing extra) without confirming first.

After my one week stay in Amsterdam, this place easily has the best service. The food is fantastic as well. The atmosphere, food, service, location were all top notch.

I was going to give 3 stars but it really seems our experience was an accident. Most or fries where rather dull as well as most of the steaks cold on the inside. The staff however was amazing and helped us in any way possible.

Went there on Valentine's evening without reservation as it was the day we arrived. The barman was very nice and didn't decline us as previously happened that day. He said to wait for 30 min and he would get us a table for dinner and he did. The staff was very friendly and chatty. The food was very good, well... More

Really enjoyed chatting to barman and eating food in a pleasant, friendly atmosphere. Excellent drinking chocolate although it is a bar and serves good beers and a wide range of drinks.

Had a very nice meal here on a Saturday evening in January. the menu is short and of good quality. I don't eat meat, so I was delighted to find a yummy cod dish and I was also tempted to have their Sticky Toffee Pudding with Ice Cream. Both courses were excellent. Service was friendly, helpful and attentive and prices... More

We were wandering around looking for a place to eat, we weren't really sure what we wanted. We got recruited by an American Fellow (we're Canadian and he recognized our accents) who was a friend of the owner. We decided to give it a try since we had nowhere else to go and they seemed nice. The food was AMAZING!... More

I admit, we had an accident with beer all over the table. Quickly and swiftly the staff came to help out. They have been all the evening nice, service minded and attentive with a great smile and attitude. The food was excellent too and at a great price.

Description
A perfect restaurant to visit if you're visiting Amsterdam located in 'de Pijp'. The staff is always welcoming and there is great food for a good price. The chef changes the menu each month and always offers different specials next to the menu. The menu varies from fish, to meat and vegetarian dishes. A real recommendation for a nice dinner or lunch. Later in the evening the bar is perfect to visit for some midnight drinks!
