If you have a bit of time to spare, be sure to visit Manneken Pis when you visit Amsterdam. The line can be a bit long at times, but the royal amount of chips you get, combined with their taste and huge selection of sauces to pick from, makes it well worth the wait.

Had an unitentional stop over in Amsterdam, headed out into the city centre for a walk around and a beer with a mate. walked back to the tram stop accompanied by the nicest portion of fries ever. No trip to Amsterdam would be complete without a portion of frites with mayo and ketchup. Happy days.

Husband ordered a large one. Fries come in a conical shaped cup, each fry is literally finger-sized in thickness and length. We had ours with cheese sauce and truffle mayonnaise, both of each were very creamy. Our 4 year old preferred the fries plain. The fries retained its crispiness despite the copious amounts of thick sauce sloshed over it. Nice... More

Never knew that Fries could come in so many different flavours. It was super crowded and the first time I went by, I decided to give it a skip due to the crowd. A few hours later, on passing it again, I couldn't help myself, and the wait was well worth the effort. The portions were generous, and the cheese... More

God knows when it got those votes or who voted, but these are awful. The fries themselves have precious little flavor and do not resemble a good frite. I have had better in a NY diner. The Sauce, vile. I asked for Garlic that should be garlic and Mayo, however this was sugar and sugar with barely a trace of... More

Visited Amsterdam twice now and both times I had these fries twice! Best chips/fries I've ever had. They are absolutely delicious. I would advice small for one person & Medium/large to share depending how hungry you are. The queue goes down quickly so don't be put off by this. They are €3-€5 euro so a cheap lunch option too, sauces... More

We had to try some fries while in Amsterdam. When we saw they line we just knew this was the place try. They are very good. I thought the sauce would not make it very far but it lasted the whole serving. Only downside is they do not have a pigeon spike above the line the way the places on... More

We were very eager to taste this no. 1 fries in holland but bit disappointed. There is nothing wrong with the food quality etc. but claiming no.1 needs something special which we missed. We had better fries in leicester (UK) hay market. It was more crispier and had better variety of sauces. On the portion size , unless you are... More

Have the nibbles/ munchies in town ? Here is the best place for frites and sauce. 3-5 euros for a portion with 50c for sauce. If you have any difficulty finding it, just look for the queue. Its mega popular. worth the 5 min wait in the queue. Try the manneken pis sauce on the frites- its fantastic. Awesome

Thank nachooooo
