A bit dirty place. Sofas are filthy. If you're stoned, you fit in. But delicious space food, you order online from an app and the food is brought to your table. Fast service and friendly staff

Not really our vibe, but I can see why larger groups might enjoy it. The music was absolutely blaring and it wasn't chill at all. Very very busy and we got plonked in the middle of lots of groups of lads who were a bit loud and lairy. There is also literally no air in the room so I felt like I was hotboxed in from the minute we went upstairs.
Its insane to me that you're paying for smoke and drinks but have to pay to use the toilet. I have to say the bud tenders were patient and friendly but the service staff just seemed preoccupied, maybe they were just too busy?
Decent smoke though. Had our smoke and left, not the sort of place you can hang around and relax.

Prix d'ami is always our 1st stop off from the train. The Beast is a great pre-roll and a great way to jump in at the deep end. Tried some Canadian strains this time and HulK Berry is a really interesting smoke. The Dutch grown Cali is also good, Razzberry Waffle and Ice Cream Cake were super tasty. The high powered air-con was heavenly in the august heat and the lattes were tasty. All staff (including bouncers) were friendly and helpful.
Will defo be back ASAP!

We’ve visited Prix d’Ami multiple times over the last 6 years, but it’s certainly not one of the best Coffeeshops in Amsterdam. Since adding the movie room a few years ago, we usually go to Prix d’Ami once during our visits to Dam for a chilled out evening in the movie room. This visit was far from chilled out and I will never return to this Coffeeshop.
Overall, this place has deteriorated over the years. It feels dirty and the service isn’t the greatest. Definitely dine in on how they look rather than whatever they actually are and the quality of what they sell. We did not buy weed from Prix d’Ami on this occasion, simply because there is better quality to spend your money on elsewhere. About 40 minutes into our visit, I saw a mouse. It came from under one of the sofa’s in the movie room and went back under there. Now, I understand that this should be expected in Amsterdam with all the canals etc, and I’ve seen mice in other coffeeshops in the past. While it made me feel uncomfortable and squeamish, I didn’t make a fuss because, as I said, it is to be expected to an extent. We had already ordered a toasti and a hot dog, otherwise I would’ve just left due to no longer feeling relaxed. Our food came, and as I bit into one half of my toasti I thought a string of cheese was stuck between the part I’d bitten into and the toasti preventing me from pulling them apart. I couldn’t see any string cheese between them. No, it was a hair. A long, curly, black hair which I pulled out along with the bite of toasti I had taken. Obviously, this made me feel extremely nauseous, and I just wanted to leave this place. We told the guy who was serving in our room and he said “oh really? I’ll be back” and took the toasti with him. I pointed out that I’m clearly blonde with straight hair and this was a dark black curly hair. He came back and offered us a drink. I said I didn’t want a drink I just wanted to get out of this place because I felt physically sick with the two things which had happened. He said “well the drink is for free I don’t know what else you want”. Needless to say, we left. We didn’t get a refund for the food we didn’t eat and I do not think a free drink is good enough when you just want to leave the place you’ve had a bad experience at. Just avoid this place at all costs. It’s all a show but there’s no actual substance. Walk a bit further up the same canal streets and you’ll come across some good coffeeshops which are worth spending your money at.

We had seen this place on tik tok and decided to go, I now wish I never even took time out of my day to come here.
We got there and the security was quite rude and cocky, but we just ignored his attitude and didn’t let that stop us from giving this place a try. We soon got in and was seated. We ordered food and drinks. Me and 2 of my friends ordered the chicken wrap and it wasn’t nice at all I couldn’t finish it and my friends didn’t even eat there’s. We then sat and chilled, and then one of the staff members ( white male with black braided hair) kept coming over to my friend and saying that she’s sleeping and that’s not allowed. She was fully awake and he was only saying this because she wasn’t sat facing him so he had assumed that she was asleep. He came over multiple times and so did the rude security guard at this point it felt like we were being picked on and felt like they just wanted to find a reason to kick us out. He then came over and shouted at us in front of everyone and told us we need to leave, we felt so embarrassed so we just left. I feel that they were only like this towards us because we stopped smoking and stopped buying food/drinks. As we was collecting our bags from the security, he made cheeky comments like “hope to see you soon and hopefully next time you don’t fall asleep”.
Prix d’ami do not appreciate their customers and are very disrespectful. They don’t seem to have any manners or human decency.
I really do not recommend this place to tourists or to anyone for that matter, there are so many other nice friendly cafes.

We saw this place on tiktok, it seemed really marketed for women with the whole pink theme but we were extremely disappointed when we reached. Whole place was full of men, it was very uncomfortable, barely another woman in sight. The reason for that might be that the red light district is around the corner. Generally, it was really really packed in there, people were randomly touching us, pretending it was an accident or that they just wanted to pass us, but you really have no business grabbing my waist to get past me. Had to get out of there really quickly. We did not go back for a second time during our stay in Amsterdam.

We went in search of some edible cakes/brownies and had been recommended this coffee shop. It’s definitely a cool place and the staff were super friendly but bought two cakes and ate BOTH on the same day with literally zero effect. Was really disappointing, especially after other reviews state that they are effective!

The staff was very friendly and helpful at the counter when I was asking about their space cakes and how much to eat at one time. However, when I wandered upstairs to see what was happening up there I just immediately got this weird vibe from staff and other patrons that I shouldn’t be there. I was solo and honestly just wandered up because I had read to go upstairs in other reviews. I was seated (didn’t realize staff seats you) and then everyone just started staring at me. So I left almost immediately after I sat down because I felt super uncomfortable. Great place maybe if you’re in a group but people were not very friendly or welcoming upstairs for solo travelers.

This is one of my least favourite coffeeshops. I found it ridiculous that even after buying bud, you have to buy a drink to be able to sit in there. It’s sooo touristy & there are so many better coffeeshops to go to. I didn’t feel that comfortable in there either.

If you’re looking for a trendy and chill coffeeshop in the city centre then this is the place for you! Very good vibes and the perfect atmosphere for chilling. Everything was pink! Staff were friendly and helpful - side note for food we recommend the chicken nachos they were delicious :)

This place is VERY cool, all pink. The kind with big lounge sofas where you can mingle with other people. Waiters are very very friendly unlike other coffee shops. It is central but kind of hidden that many people go to Amsterdam and would miss it!
Cool place!

Decided too visit this coffee shop as everytime i went past there was always a big queue of people and seemed quite popular. Security and staff were friendly, a good varied menu of different strains of weed and prices are reasonable. The shop was quite busy and therefore seating was limited so ended up on the third floor, you have to purchase a drink whilst spending your time there. I enjoyed the atmosphere and would have spent a lot longer there if i had more time, music was good and everyone is relaxed in their own element.

Ok so its good at what it does right? For the first joint after dealing with Amsterdam Train Station... it does what it needs to, the product is hit and miss to be honest, but theres some good bits on the menu. Some staff are great others seem like they dont wanna be there but we all have off days so im not really complaining
Vibes are nice though and everyone is friendly
Food is surprisingly good for a coffeeshop

Very cool and large smoke shop, it has 3 floors and cool lights it’s nicely decorated. This has to be one of my favourite smoke shops in amsterdam, it was huge and the bud was very nice I also got some hash that was also very good. Very good vibes and atmosphere, would definitely go back if I have the chance. The only downside to this coffee shop was that you had to pay for the toilet which was a bit annoying considering I had spent lots of money in there already.

Best coffee stop I visited in Amsterdam. There are four flours. One has a massive TV with sofas where you can watch films. Top floor also has TVs, sofas, benches with a really chilled vibe. We requested twice in one day for football and boxing to be put on respectively and they were happy to oblige. The waitress provided great service.

Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
