Excellent service, the waiters were very helpful and attending. Nice location in the city centre, on the canal. The food was very nice too. Good place. Visited with restaurantweek, paid for two € 100.

We were so glad to find this place, it is just off the beaten track along a canal and has an amazing atmosphere with gorgeous interiors. Although we only came for lunch we would have definitely returned for dinner, the food and wine were gorgeous and the menu has so many options I could hardly choose. If you are looking... More

This was the restaurant that was attached to the hotel we were staying at. Few people on the evening we ate but the food was lovely - very well cooked, good service from friendly staff, nice space, good portion size, reasonably priced and good wine. Was surprised it wasn't busier. Atmosphere a little flat but probably because there were only... More

We were staying at the hotel so returned one of the days to have lunch in the restaurant. There was a good choice. I had French Onion Soup which was superb and my husband had a Croque Monsieur and Dutch Apple Pie. Again both were good. Attentive staff, great food enjoyed our visit.

Cosy, modern atmosphere with lovely personal service and delicious food. Located in a cute spot central to the city, the staff were friendly and helpful. We had the 3 course Valentines Day menu which was perfect! Defiantly recommend this to anyone!

Found this whilst walking along the canal and decided to go in and have some lunch. FIRST IMPRESSIONS Really cute because you go down some stairs and the decor inside is really nice. It's a really long room. DRINKS I decided to try some Jenever (Dutch alcohol) which wasn't too expensive but you don't get too much anyway FOOD I... More

We had a perfect dinner after a sightseeing tour. The staff was very good, managed smoothly a huge group of hungry people. The interior very interesting and stylish, the food excellent. I´ll come back here.

That was a great surprise for a X-mas dinner. Fortunately we could get a table, cause it was full booked. Highlights for the foie-gras and desserts.

Thijs by Dikker & Thijs is where modern city life meets tradition in a 18th century warehouse on the Pinsengracht canal. Thijs offers a French kitchen and prefers to work with seasonal products, pure and honest ingredients. The crew is highly qualified when it comes to pampering you. Thijs has style and standing and offers at the same time a unique modern atmosphere. On the first floor we have a hotel lounge and Private Dining Room for lunch or diner, with a beautiful canal view. This room can also be hired for meetings or presentations.
