This small Italian deli with a few seats turns out some fabulous food with big flavors. Our party of four selected a number of items from the beautiful salads, pastas and meats on offer. They heated up what needed to be warmed and delivered everything to our table when it was ready. Staff were very friendly and prices were extremely... More

It's chaotic and unorganized, but food is authentic and good. They have great sandwiches and a lovely little terrace. If the line is too long, skip the place, because you'll be waiting for hours to order, but if there is only three or four others, give it a try. It's worth it.

My wife and I went there for dinner on a weekday. The young waiter was quite helpful when we had to choose our selections. Most of the food was fairly tasty but some of the vegetables were not. Our experience was further spoiled when I found a piece of food from the previous customer(s) on our table, which is unacceptable.... More

Nice place. We've been there 4 or 5 times throughout our stay in Amsterdam. It's focused mostly on takeaway food, but you can eat it in the restaurant and will be pleased with service. There are couple of tables on the first floor and there is a balcony with cozy little tables and a cat called Spaghetti on top. You... More

Really unique Italian deli at a corner with nice atmosphere and really great quality food. Lamb sandwich, cannoli and Italian craft beer made my day!

This place is a bit hidden. We only found it because our hotel was at the same street. We were always seeing local people eating there, so we decided to try it. It was very good! There aren't many choices, but the Italian food there was excellent. We took it home, so I'm not sure if they heat it up... More

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
