The food was delicious and the beer was good. Me and my friend enjoyed the restaurant and I'm sure to revisit if I travel to Amsterdam again.

Everything from the service, to the food and the drinks made for an incredible experience at Fou Fow Ramen! The 20 minute wait, outside in the cold, was completely worth it. The space is small so it's no surprise that there was a wait for such a popular restaurant. They had spinach gomae (sauteed spinach in a peanut dressing) as... More

It was pretty good. Had the Classic Veggie Noodles which was perfect for a cold rainy day. It was tasty and warmed me up for my window-shopping.

Not hard to see why this place is constantly busy - great range of ramen noodle soups and hot entrees. All freshly prepared with good quality ingredients. Ideal for a quick lunch on a cold day. Serves beer and wine also. Lunchtime gets very busy so be prepared to take a number and wait for a table to come free,... More

This place was highly recommended by a local and it happened to be next door to where I was staying, just by 9th street! I arrived at noon which was the opening time and the place started to fill up within minutes! The service was rather swift since I was the first customer. Ordered the classic tonkatsu ramen and the... More

Staying in Jordaan

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordaan
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll through this especially convivial warren of narrow streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and quality galleries. Historically a haven for the working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is better known as an enclave for artists and designers. As popular as the Jordaan is as a destination for locals and out-of-towners alike, the area never feels particularly touristy or overrun with outsiders. A highlight even for long-time Jordaan residents, be sure to accept any invitation to step within one of the area’s beloved courtyards or to have a sneak peek inside one of its many working studios.
