This quaint restaurant was outstanding! The staff was very accommodating to the vegan and gluten intolerant people in our group and that was with a set menu! We picked the number of courses we wanted and were served accordingly. The presentation was beautiful and the...More

Four of us thoroughly enjoyed the creatively conceived dinner menu and the friendly, attentive service. There is no choice apart from dessert versus cheese: you select a menu of three, four or five courses, and you get what you are given! Everything came with helpful...More

This was a eating experience. The food was outstanding. We had 4 courses of culinary delights. There was no menu so I was concerned about the price, this was a little bit more expensive than where I usually eat (2 people, 4 courses, bottle of...More

In an alley off the main drag of the Red Light District we visited Blauw aan de Wal. A total incongruity for the area. Prix Fixe meal (options for number of courses) included the most perfectly prepared lamb we have ever eaten and a shrimp...More

The restaurant is hidden in a narrow alley in the heart of the Red Light district of Amsterdam. Were it not for the positive reviews of TripAdvsor and others,we would never have gone for it, and we were certainly not disappointed. The restaurant does not...More

This is a rare opportunity to experience inventive superb food , though not inexpensive, it is great value for the quality and level of service. Exceptional!

Nice atmosphere, excellent food and lovely service. Had the four-course menu and the portion size was good, not too heavy but not left hungry either. Quite hard to miss from the street, so you need to know where you're going. Definitely a place worth to...More

Very imaginative dishes. Especially liked the lamb neck cooked in Madeira. The menu is fixed each night and we had a choice of 3,4 or 5 courses. We had a raw mackerel first course, then tiny shrimp bisque and the lamb. Dessert was panna cotta....More

To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the
Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its
saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to
view some of the city’s most picturesque canals,
historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples
of traditional local architecture – not to mention
Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist
temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some

Not a vegetarian restaurant. Go somewhere else
I was wondering if the restaurant's wine list was available or posted anywhere. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

No, but they have a great selection. Their menu and wine list change very frequently, so they usually present options at the table. Great wine btw.
