Having lived 10 years in Andalucia it is difficult to find a proper and authentic Tapas bar outside of Spain. The owner not only speaks perfect Spanish but has decorated using real Andalusian tiles and wall coverings. The food took us straight back to Seville...More

So cold that they were skating on the frozen canals, we bundled into this lovely warm Spanish place, where the tapas were divine and the flamenco ultra-authentic.. Wonderful, friendly staff and a lively cheerful atmosphere made it a night to remember for a very long...More

Lovely atmosphere and great service in this Spanish tapas restaurant. Dishes are larger than usual tapas dishes. Food was very good. Enjoyed the spinach/pine nut/raisin dish and the pulled beef in particular. Worth a visit

Had some tapas and wine. Overall atmosphere and service was great, as was the food. Nicely decorated with eye for detail.

Fabulous rustic slightly shabby restaurant. A favourite of the locals. Take time to try this place. Fast efficient service and good quality basic food that is full of flavour. Good value for money. Add it to your list of places to visit when in Amsterdam

We visited here on a mid Sunday afternoon, it was very quiet but that was due to our timing. Our, Italian, waiter was very friendly and helpful, he suggested some tapa dishes to try, which we throughly enjoyed, we had a spinach tortilla and tapas...More

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.

Duende is the oldest tapas bar in Amsterdam. For over 25 years this bar has been widely recognized for its authentic Spanish food, as well for neighborhood people as for tourists. Good quality food and a nice ambiance do not have to be complicated. The flamenco classes and performances make Duende a Spanish gem in the Jordaan area.
