For sure one of my favorite restaurants in Amsterdam, if not Holland, if not the world! A must see-be when in Holland. I try to go there at least once every 3-4 months.

The sole Teppanyaki restaurant in Europe with Star Michelin and I fully agree about it. The food is fantastic and the service is perfect. There are some fixed menu to choose (82 or 95€ per person) with extra charge for special meat (Kobe or Wagyu) or you can choose a la carte menu. Medium size portion, not small at all.... More

Me and my girlfriend had a unique first experience dining at a Teppanyaki restaurant, where we had the Classic five course menu. The service was fantastic and the food preperation in front of you was spectacular! Passed all expectations, highly recommend!

The restaurant has surprised me. I just found out I am a gluten intolerant, therefore going to a restaurant was kind of tense for me, not knowing if they would take my intolerance seriously. But the restaurant blow my expectations. With every meal they explained me that my dish was specially gluten free. Because teppanyaki uses a lot of soya... More

I took a party of 28 business people to this restaurant for the dining experience of a lifetime and we were not disappointed! Although we did have to wait 40 minutes for the Chef's to set up the hotplate's, the food was definitely worth the wait. I had decided to include the Wine pairing and each choice of wine complemented... More

We went here with a group of work colleagues and were lucky enough to experience the private room with 2 cooking tables back to back. An amazing experience and awesome to watch it all being cooked in front of you by your own personal chef. All of the courses were amazing and unique, but I have to say that the... More

Description
The Teppan-chefs will prepare the most delicious fish, meat and vegetarian dishes on a hot iron griddle at your table: a la minute cooking with Japanese precision. The contemporary Japanese interior, inspired by the elements of stone, wood, water and fire, is an oasis of tranquillity. The teppanyaki griddles are large enough for seven to ten guests and are ideal for both business and celebratory dinners. Sazanka is open for dinner from 18:30 to 22:00 daily. Lunch can be prepared for a minimum group size of 10 people and must be booked in advance.
