I was very happy to see there a place with actual dutch food. The place is lovely, the people are lovely, the food is fantastic and my appeltaart with slagroom was amazing. If you want to eat dutch, come to the pantry

We loved this little place with traditional dutch food. The service was great with very friendly helpful staff. The sea bass excellent and the chicken satay mild.

I tried this place to get some Dutch food. I was actually the only one in here but it was really good and the draft beer was great. Definitely a good spot for lunch and a pretty good location for shopping or museums.

We found this restaurant through trip advisor and we were really pleased with our find. Great staff and great food. Had the opportunity to try Dutch cuisine and loved it. Very busy place so you need to book. Waiter was brilliant.

FANTASTIC traditional Dutch food. Hutspot is my new favorite thing in the world! Pea soup was amazing, too. Great service, great location for where we were... just loved it. Thanks!

We made a reservation for 4 for an early dinner on a week night and it was very busy when we left. Best taditional Dutch food we had during our stay, with generous portions. Items were reasonably priced and very tasty. Wine was cheap and...More

FOOD IS D I S G U S T I N G The food quality, especially the meat, is poor and shoddy. Meat is spicy, in the attempt to cover its indecorous quality. The cheese fondue TOTALLY tasteless. Again poor cheese quality. The only positive...More

They will do takeaway but it won’t travel well. Has to be hot out of the oven or why bother?

If you skip the bread you probably call the vegetarian meals gluten free. I’m sure they could adjust the dishes adapt to a sensitive needs person

My teenager chose the satay chicken and although he ate most food f it he really didn’t like it. My other son had steak and chips and loved it. I had the Sea bass and it was delicious. Good luck enjoy 😃

Description
The Pantry Imagine a restaurant version of the successful TV show I Love Holland, and that is what The Pantry is like. This cosy restaurant near the Leidseplein distinguishes itself with its typically Dutch atmosphere and traditional old-Dutch dishes. Hospitality is important. The staff understands the dining and hospitality business and have worked here for years, during which the recognition of this restaurant has been ever increasing. The Dutch living room atmosphere is enhanced by the use of lampshades, Delftware and old paintings on the wall, complemented by the background music. The Pantry works exclusively with fresh, homemade products. Its location in the Leidseplein neighbourhood makes this an ideal restaurant to eat before catching a theatre show or movie. The doors open from eleven in the morning, so it's also a great place to go for lunch
