I only found out this place was in the red light district when I opened this column. So don't be deceived by the red light location. It is a great place and offers very good and family friendly service. (I say this for uptight North...More

I adore Indonesian food. I search the world for it, including having been to Indonesia to feast on it! As a vegetarian though, I'm always wary of hidden fish sauces and shrimp paste or bland interpretations of meat dishes. Not so at Aneka Rasa. The...More

Not worth to visit! We went there for dinner and had the 'ricetafel' Food wasn't good, rice and vegetables overcooked, fatty meat, strange taste Only Good thing was the beer!!!

We went on a weeknight and the place was not busy at all. We had rijstaffel and it was good. There was a little bit of everything in the small dishes: vegetables, egg, prawns, fish, chicken, lamb, and beef. None of the dishes were outstanding,...More

We asked for one of the Rijsttafel menu (rice table). The food was good and it allows you to try different tastes and create your own mixes. Overall I think it’s a good experience for a good value, although I would say don’t get your...More

This seems to be one of the more affordable Indonesian restaurants. They do not spend a lot of effort on décor, and the tables are simple, without tablecloth, almost canteen-like.I don't have a lot of experience with Rijstafel, so I cannot judge the quality compared...More

During a visit to Amsterdam in September of 2017, I decided to have rijsttafel or rice table, which I have had many times in the past and greatly enjoy. Avoid the restaurant at all costs. It was the only bad meal we had during our...More

To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the

Pretty sure you can get gluten free most of the items in the Rijstaffel, but call the restaurant like any one else would do :)
